the parents r finally herrreeeeeeeee
well they have been in melb for a week but they r finally in my house.
bye bye cooking and cleaning for 2-3 weeks. muahahaha

its been so fun. tho i must admit intially i didnt really know how to go about my daily life. as in, ive been so used living away from them, being independant, doing things at my own pace yada yada. now tht they are here, i dont know how to go about the things i usually do. its no longer just me but us. i'm getting used to the whole family thing once again :)

being with family only screams one thing- major eating sessions!

it was too lovely a day to stay at home. perfect time to go to the mountains! we went to feed some birds and tht is when i discovered something new bout my sis- she loves birds.

feeding the birdies @ grant picnic groundbirdy wannabethe birds eat all day long. people feed it all day long! suddenly i was reminded of this verse, 'if God feeds and clothes the birds of the air, what more me'. the birds didnt ask to be fed but it was being fed. subtle reminder from Him :)

revival doesnt come easy. esp when its dead. unlike this blog, i'm still very much alive and kicking. much has been happening to me and to the ppl ard me. chel's parents came and went. pegs parents are here now and mine is coming next thurs. all our graduation dates are one week after another. when i graduate, it will also be chel's bday. how full on can one month be?

anyways how am i you ask? ok. not fantastic. not awesome. just ok. going with the flow of a lot of things. so much uncertainty. so much patience involved. so much waiting. so much of everything but too little action. i detest when the same ppl ask me the same questions like 'how is ur pr going' a gazzilion times. when i do get it, u'll know it. same goes for my job. yup, i'm still working at a cafe in uni. almost got an accounting job but they decided against it. so i'm back to applying for more jobs.

i see everyone ard me receiving their miracle except me. in a weird way, i still feel at peace. in the midst of all the small talks going on in my head, i know mine is on its way. when i pray for someone to get theirs, i feel i'm one step closer to mine. like my urbies. omg their amazing. the last 2 weeks, testimonies after testimonies have been rolling in. i cant wait to see all u guys this tues for some major praise session.

i can't see the light at the end of this tunnel. but the light guiding my path now is sufficient.

i worked a grand total of 46.5 hours last week. waking up at 7am every morning and staying till 6pm everyday aint fun BUT the many joys ie moolah i got in return is countless. in all honesty, yes customers do annoy me. yes i'm annoyable. and yes i annoy ppl :) i've come to realise that i'm quite a kang cheong spider also. i need to wake up by 7am in order to bath, check my email and eat breakfast before leaving the house at 7.35am to catch the 7.42am bus. and i NEVER fail to wake up 10-15 min before the alarm ring because somehow i'm scared i won't hear the alarm or my handphone will fail on me -_-. another thing is, when i reach the bus stop before the time the bus is scheduled to come, i will ask myself, did i miss the bus? did the bus leave me? then i proceed to stand up and check if there is any sign of the bus up the road. i'm such a worry wart.

anyways

i actually want to share bout 2 ppl tht i love muchos at work. one is B and one is D. BEEDEES! hehehe -_-

B is not only my colleague but also happens to be one of my best girlfriends. i look forward to weds and thurs coz that's her shift. i remember making a passing comment to my manager once, oh yay, bel's coming in tmr' and i just smile and walked away. our boss calls us the gossip central coz we talk too much and laugh too loud. and he always say that belly should be at one end (the juice corner) and i should be at the other (the hot food section). tho we dont talk much during work but knowing tht she's there gives me a peaceful feeling. the updates, stories and sharing times during work may be short or just a few words here n there but it seems to have more quality then pointless chatters on the phone.

i will always remember the funniest thing you ever said to me. remember how i was complaining that i felt the last wind in my season blew and left? and you said, 'but lily, melbourne is always very windy. you dont know what will happen'. definitely a classic moment :) what i like most bout her is that she's down to earth. her advise is not put in 'holy' terms per say but practical realistic ways. belly, i love u muchos. to me, ur real, ur a soloman to me and ur nothing short of what i could ask for in a friend.

D on the hand is very 'protective' of me. somehow someway. every guy that i talk to, i will have weird stares from him demanding who he is. nice in a way to know tht there is someone looking out for me. dont really know whether he means it not but i shall take it at face value :) ok fine i admit tht i like to nag him A LOT bout his actions or the way he lives life. but i cant help it. thts coz i care and i die die oso must say it. hehe. the thing with him is that he listens to me and never ever tries to shut me up. he just says, 'you dont know wht ur missing out on' and i go, 'YOU dont know what ur missing out on' haha. i know that there is a certain depth to this friendship coz the awkwardness that appears when being silent disappears.

don, i have no idea y u were so cranky last friday but after the incident with u n the 2 girls, i can't stop smiling and laughing to myself. i constantly asked myself how on earth can we be so gamn YET so different. by far, ur the most generous guy i've met and i'm glad our path crossed. tho it maybe for a season but i'm still glad it did. n btw, ur such a stud n i cant stand it! haha

other than friends, i look forward to fridays after work coz we'll have sandwich basketball in the kitchen with the boss. his fav line is, 'double up or nothing'. i always end up laughing till i have stomach cramps. and not to forget, friday is payday!

i've been in love with spice girls ever since and i'm back in that frenzy once again! i remember the days when i had no astro and would sit in front of the telly at 5pmmevery sunday evening religiously waiting for the top 10 hits to come on. because it was a half hour show, they could not show all 10 MTV's so i would secretly pray that they would show an MTV on the spice girls. good times. my 1st few albums were spice girls and also 911 and backstreet boys. ANYWAYS, enough of reminising my past. hehe. spent the later bit of my day youtubing on the spice girls. watched a documentary on posh spice which only happens to be my fav spice and a couple of their MTVs.

i literally have this poster in my bedroom back in klang. check out those platform shoes and the victory signs. nevertheless i've gotta admit tht i still love them. i have posterS and cassetteS. yup those were the cassettes days. am a very avid fan indeedy :)

i witness something beautiful today.

the day started of by me wanting to sleep in and not go out with pegs to help lisa run some errands for her wedding. i contemplated while rolling ard on my bed. finally i gave in. yada yada yada (cutting the story short). the last task on the list was for lisa to try her gown. pegs drove us to some lady's place which was beautiful btw. she changed into her gown and walk awkwardly into the hallway where i sat. i just stared at her while pegs and diane dolled her up with the gloves and veil. there she stood, right in front of my eyes, a picture of perfection. in the midst of the chaotic wedding plans, the hundred and million things to do and the plans not even thought of, there she stood in her complete wedding gown, a symbol of perfection. she blurred everything in the picture and the focus was on her. nothing seemed to matter anymore because wht stood in front of me is perfect. all i could do was to marvel at her beauty. at that second, i felt the holy spirit swept over me and reminded me of Jesus. how he turned my mourning into dancing. how he made everything perfect in His time. and all i can do is to marvel at His beauty and remain speechless.

i hope i managed to explain how i felt u managed to catch the geez of it :)

ur looking at a fresh new grad!!! :) ooooo i am super estatic! wait. i think tht is an understatment! i guess only pegs will truly know how i feel since i ran to her room, held her hands and started jumping up and down and yes, i even squealed for wht seems to be a long time *grins* i cant help it. i think i have mousey instincts.

so lemme just share with u my ordeal which was made into an ideal. after the 2005 episode of failing paperS, i became very sensitive about my studies and avoid convo about my grades and y i'm here for an extra sem at all measures. on top of tht, i thought i was a failure (only study wise tho). ohhhhhh but i thank God for His faithfulness :) so, after 1 1/2 years of continous slaving after 2005, forgoing my summer holiday for summer school, numerous visits to d lib, I AM NOW AN OFFICIAL GRADUATE :)

i really could not have done it without the support, love, constant encouraging from a group of ppl. guys, (mummy, daddy, jie, sher, mel, choonwae, pegs, chel, lisa, jonlee, eric, anna, grace, sara, melly, jonraj, belly, elaine, chenny, chris, jeff, elyn, chloe, hauwei, deej, VIP's and my urbies at ULU16) from the bottom of my eternally grateful heart, thank you so much! (ok now imagine me jumping up and down, squeeling and hugging you all. hehehe)

living away from ur family makes you do house chores. but there are just somethings that we chose to overlook such as the hair that drops down in a girls bathroom, which can grow as long as the sewage pipe itself. The unwashed dishes over a span of few days, the weekly garbage throw rather than daily.

i guess all the above is tolerable BUT when a fungi grows in ur toilet, it is unacceptable! major grosssss. whenever i think bout it, my body will do a little jingly tingly dance. i dare not look at it let alone clean it. i mostly let out frilly screams.

Day 1
the kids were making fun of it saying 'let it grow more so we can have mushroom soup for all' -_-

Day 2
this sign greeted us as we came into the house. i bet they were laughing while drawing this sign.

it flippin grew longer!!?!?! DOUBLE GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i asked the man to clean it BUT he said he wanted to let it GROW more so he could sprinkle the sporal around the toilet to let it be a mushroom fest. TRIPLE GROSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!
3 mushroom= 3 housemates. the tallest one is pegs, then chel then me. hahaha

it is utterly mind boggling till i couldnt study. all i could think of is tht thing in the toilet downstairs. BUT after reading elyn's blog, that was the last straw. i SUPER cannot tahan. just the thought of it makes me squirm. i even day dream of how to kill it. yes, it is tht bad. SO, i was a women with a mission!

i went n spray/destroy/KILL it at 2 in the morn.
i thought to myself, wht if i spray it and then tmr it grows bigger n becomes gross-ser?????!?!? i'll just die n bug someone to do something bout it. so off i went but before i could spray it, it was dead -_-

so potong stim. *sigh* BUT i still sprayed it, one to many times. DIEEEE. took the tissue, grab it n flushed it down and spray spray spray somemore.

hairy issues

1st issue
i've been blessed with really really fine and smooth hair. my friends can testify to this. but the downside is tht i've got too little hair. we really can't win can we :) we're constantly fighting another persons battle.
i've tried perming it but it went bodyless and kinda *plat looking* in 3 weeks time.
i tried cutting it real short and used wax but it gave in.
the solution? use volumising shampoo! BUT (again) it still doesn't give me the *pong* hair tht i want! hmphhh

look wht herbal essences promise me:

'i leave a lift in all the right places and rinse clean to leave you with volume that minds and lots of bounce for the ounce'. think it's uplifting? try my conditioner.

gimmicks! sigh

2nd issue
another issue is that my hair drops like a lot. when i wash my hair, it falls. when i dry my hair, it falls. when i tie my hair, it falls. even when i use my hand to go through my hair, it falls! i know it is a normal thing but read on :) what amazes me most is considering the rate my hair is falling off my poor scalp, i still have hellalot of hair! its suppose to look like i've got less hair but no. it really still does look the same. hmmmm. when i get to heaven, i'll ask God tht. He said that he knows the amount of hair on our head. poor Him, he has to re-adjust my number-of-hair-figures every few minutes. hehe.

here i am,sitting on my bean bag with both my legs crossed on the table's foot stand at 2am. there's light shinning from my table lamp and my green-bubble-floating-lava lamp. the cool breeze from my ajar window is comforting. i hear contrasting sounds of speading cars and the stillness of night. no worries in the world. no care in the world. only me and the WWW :)

as i scan through my calender, everyday is a busy bee day! how i long to enjoy and appreciate the simplicity of life; those moments alone and those me times. i came home early from church last sun and spoiled myself silly. had tomyam meehoon & a slice of oreo cheesecake for dessert and i sprawled myself on the bean bag in front of the tv watching nonsensical tv programs :) yay to me time. yay to brainless tv programs! BUT in no time i was greeted by munchkin Chrisa who came jumping on me. it THEN struck me how short the pleasures of life can be. it aint permanent and every moment is precious. so seize the moment for mornings are quick to come. cest la vie!

but all hope is not gone for He did say that His mercies are new every morning :)

6 things i dont like bout work in chaddy:

1. rolling the pizza base
2. spreading the ingredients onto the base
3. waking up at 7.15am
4. changing 2 buses to get to work
5. buses not being on time
6. waiting for customers to come and buy food

for those who dont know, i work 2 jobs. yes 2 jobs. one's casual and another part time. and the one that i detest is the part time one. well ok i dont detest detest it but i just dont like rolling the pizza bases. other than tht i'm fine because it provides a fixed income. sigh. i shouldnt be complaining but i'm just so blah. i told God that He'd better give me some inspiration while i'm rolling the pizza bases. or else i'll. just. die. -_-

yesterday i did something different. after rolling the bases, making the pizza's n putting it in the oven, i went outside to the bane marie and prayed for the food :) hahaha. yes i lift my hands towards the food and prayed for it. i prayed that God will bless the food, His favour will be upon it and there will be more sales! coz normally we'll have extra uneaten pizza's but yesterday after i left at 3pm there were only 3 pizza's left! hah! 3!!!! n they only close the shop at 5-6pm. i'm so amazed. :) well coz 'I' made the pizza's. definitely boost my confidence and it made my 2 hours of rolling and making the pizza's worth while. my next prayer will be that God will bless those who buy and eat the pizza's :)

on a separate note, peg's youth pastor is here to stay for 6 weeks and he has 3 adorable girls; ash, nat and chrisa! like my family, 3 girls! i can SO relate to nat :) :) love them to bits. forgive me if i do the baby talk on u all from now on.

Easter Camp 07!

it has been toooooooooo long

basically i've been busy with one thing and one thing only, OCF easter camp 2007
my days consists of estimating food for 250 ppl, looking out for cheap prices in Coles, visiting springvale and clayton one too many times, driving here and there, withdrawing money, make bookings and etc
i feel quite like an 'aunty' during the pre-camp. Coles was like my 2nd home and it was where i always scout for cheap food and cheap prices -_-
pre-camp was harder than during camp itself. i can honestly say that i literally dream and sleep bout food. those late nights and those early mornings. those panic attacks. those making my housemates guinea pigs. those times troubling pegs to borrow her car.

ahhhhhh but it was ALL good :)
camp turned out great
the food was awesome (i'd like to think so :) )
we were ahead of schedule for the preparation of dishes

like bel said, it is really truly God :)
and i also acknowledge tht it was truly by His grace and mercy tht we pulled through

there were many incidents where i was not proud of my reaction
i guess it shocked many ppl as it did to myself
now i know how i am when under preasure
not a very nice me

i just wanna acknowledge belly, chenny and meiching
esp bel :)
u r so beautiful and just so solid! i couldnt and wouldnt want to imagine camp without u. i am so proud to call u friend. a priviledge indeed :) and i am so happy that we went through this journey together. i am glad that we can be brutally honest with each other and yet so excepting of one another. you're a gem! and i love u heaps :) we make a great team!

in the midst of my free-ness, i'm busy

i only have 2 more units to grad! so i'm only doing 2 units this sem which means:
2 lect * 2 hours each + 2 tutes * 1 hours each= 6 contact hours!

bel told me not to anybody coz ppl will box me. hehehe.

based on my timetable, i'm free. no. tht is an understatement. i'm super free. but like i said. in the midst of my free-ness, i'm busy! geddit?

anyhoo, i recently found a job at The Den in uni.
working there on tues so if ur free, come n find me.
NO, there will not be discounts coz i do not want to get fired!
but come n drink the smoothies and juices. i promise to make a good one for u! :)

and i'm also picking up mandarin. i borrowed a 'how to speak chinse' book from matheson lib.
speaking of libs, they closed down john medley lib. my all time fav lib! awesome place to waste time *grin*

BIG DAY OUT-23rd Feb 06

it is actually an orientation trip for new international students. a few seniors got chosen to go for free to help manage the whole trip.ie, counting heads and entertaining new students on the bas. the route of our trip started from Clayton Uni to Sorrento, Peninsula where we visited Arthur's seat and took a ferry ride to Queenscliff. on the ferry ride, we saw dolphins! dolphins swimming along with the ferry. ahhh, it was SUCH a beautiful sight! :) definitely the highlight of the trip for me. then we had lunch at Queenscliff which is a small town and we headed towards Gee Long waterfront and then back to Caufield for the bush dance.

i reckon the whole big day out was ok only la. nothing spectacular. all the spots we visited was not really significant. i guess it is for the students to say, "yea, i've been there before" if asked by others.

but the bush dance was REALLY REALLY fun
through out the whole day, the weather was warm cold warm cold warm and cold
i was down with a headache coz of tht. expected. sigh.
but during the dinner and bush dance i said no. this headache will not affect me. i chose to enjoy myself and i really did! the power of words! hehehe
the did up the place really nice. with helium ballons and stuff and the dinner was really good

its so different celebrating it here in aus. not that i celebrated it but it really feels like any other day. no extreme promo in malls and shops unlike msia.

i've been involved in monash's orientation/registration and enrolment thingy.
it has been hectic and tiring but fulfilling. the amout of friends i've made. the amout of ppl i've helped. it was awesome!
and i did it planet shakers style! heaps of smiling and ask how's it going. i can't help it. it comes so naturally. i guess helping out in PS conference really helped me heaps to open up and to be more outgoing, smiley and grinny :) i'm doing this for one reason and one reason only and tht is to glorify my God :)

the ground passes permits us to watch all matches in Vodafone arena as well as the outer courts matches.

we arrived slightly late but we still manage to get seats in Vodafone arena
the doors open at 10am
check out the massive crowd!

because i didnt understand the game, i did a lil bit of homework the night before
even after dan gave me a short course on tennis, it was still hazy
we manage to catch 2 games- 1 men and 1 women
during the initial bit of the men's match, i hafta admit that it was pretty boring coz the game was still hazy
but after i caught up with it, it became SO kang cheong!
and when i'm kang cheong, i talk to myself aloud and sometimes in a high pitched voice *shy*
to the point where the lady next to me said,

lady: "u really like this game dont you?"
me: " *shy face* yeah i do"
lady: "do u play tennis?"
me: "i wish i did!"
then i gave her my all malaysian smile! hahahah

Grosjean(28 seeded) was initially leading by 2-0
then things heated up
Nalbandian (8 seeded) then started to kick ass yo!

oh this is my munching food during the game

thank God i was not so kang cheong spider until i toppled all my muchies at everybody
that would have been a classic moment in my life :)

after 2 games, 5 hours in total, we were ready to leave

it was raining outside
and when we were about to leave, we heard an announcement going on
so we stopped to listen
and GUESS WHAT????
those ppl who purchased ground tickets for the day gets another FREE ticket because it was raining the whole day and all outer court matches were cancelled!

so we got 3 free tickets

i was excited about going back
but when i reached home i realised that i was beat up

PLANET SHAKERS CONFERENCE 2007!!!

it was SOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome
the SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO still doesnt do it justice.
yes it was THAT awesome :) :)

i touched down melb on the 1st
& on d 2nd, conference started and i was a volunteer!! :)
i was an usherer
it was a GREAT experience
& it was great to serve Him

made heaps of new friends
got to know a few ppl better- sarah & mei ying!! she's so awesome! :)

tho i was volunteering, i still manage to participate in the conference
i was in for all the sermons
i praised Him
i jumped/danced around
i worshiped Him
and i ushered ppl into His presence
couldn't get any better than tht huh
wrong.
my team ushered the middle section of Vodafone arena which is only the section tht has the best view of the stage!!
:) :)

it was tiring but totally worth it
i think it was the 3rd day, meiying, yuli and i were totally shagged.
we slept at the corridor. in front of the toilet. with our backs on the floor.
hahaha.
but it was totally worth it
after serving, i have a sense of ownership of being part of city church :)

i made a to-do list before heading back :) coz i had such a short time, i didnt want to miss out anything that i missed or stuff that i wanted to do. ppl who used my computer will laugh because number one on my list was to eat durian!! hahaha. i manage to do everything except to get an ear piercing coz mumsy said no. oh wells.

alrighty, the HIGHLIGHTS of my 16 day holiday back home:
[::] saw my beloved family!!

[::] went to genting AGAIN. swore not to go back there for 3-4 years!!!

[::] i fell sick 3 times -_-'' the 1st was when i 1st arrive in msia. d 2nd time, i completely lost my voice! and d 3rd was during/after youth camp.

[::] alas i met up with jonlee!! :) u so BIG-in-size d!! haha.miss u!

[::] went to pasar malam and bought durian!! yum!!

[::] had my swensons earthquake!!

[::] went to the orphanage and celebrated christmas with them! (definitely one of the better highlights!) the kids still remember me!! they called me che che lily :) :) :) ahhhhhhhh the joy!! *beams*

[::] went for youth camp 2006!!

[::] did HEAPS of shoe shopping. finally bought my converse shoes!!! woots!

[::] had a china doll haircut which is way too long now :( doesnt really look like a doll coz i have too little hair to cover my forehead -_- check out the holes

[::] spent quality time with my dearest friends

[::] had chritmas dinner with my extended family. finally got to see all my cousy's again :)

[::] spent new years eve at home watching star wars coz my dearest sister wanted to watch it. imagine, when ppl were counting down, and when the clock striked 12, Obi Wan was trying to kill Anakin Skywalker -_-. i know its sad. we just wished each other and continue glueing our eyes on the tv.

[::] flew back on 1st of january 2007. new years day. sad? i think not. haha. it was d best flight so far!! not much ppl on the plane and there was no one beside me!! hahahaha. i didnt go to the loo the entire flight and i watched 3 movies!!! i am so proud of myself!!! self achievement!!! i am sucho lamo..hur hur hur

i wanna blog about assurance
why do ppl want assurance from man just to make themselves feel good for only that moment?
i mean wht's the point if you already know/ur gut feeling tells u tht it is NOT going to go your way or the way u THINK it is going? y bother seeking for assurance?
i use to rant my head of to friends just to seek for assurance. waiting for them to say that everything will be ok.
i think a lot of us live in denial and we just dont wanna face the truth.

and just the other day, i had an issue with one of the units i was taking for summer school
to cut the long story short, i was told that i might have paid $2k for a unit that wouldnt contribute to my remaining 4 units for me to grad. at that moment, i wanted to call anybody somebody just to complain n rant. but strangely enough i didnt. the first thing that came to my mind was 'y do u need assurance from man?' at tht moment i knew it was God who was speaking to me. the actual fact was that i didnt need assurance. i needed to see a course advisor and straighten things out and get confirmation. not assurance. God reminded me i didnt need assurance from man. all i needed was to TRUST in Him and that He was my assurance and my defendant! i was so glad i stop to listen and to ponder on wht He spoke to me :)

a lil mousey update

i've fallen sick-ish and have recovered
i've been hibernating at home and being a lil mousey
i've been productive. i read a book! a walk to remember and i watched the movie AGAIN :)

i watched it with 2 of my beautiful girlfriends in a cinema full of couples.
if i'm not mistaken, we were only form 5
and being the girls we were, we squeled and laughed so loud. it was embarrassing la.
after reading the book and re watching the movie, i dont know which one i prefer because they kinda twist it a lot.
of coz shane west is absolutely drop dead gorgeous and a bad boy but in the book he wasn't like that at all.
it's always a shame that when a movie is based on a book, the story line is always twisted. somehow.somewhere.

ooooo, and currently i'm reading running with the giants :)
i've done some shopping and i'm feeling terribly guilty
i've said heaps of goodbyes, attended farewell dinners and now i'm numb when ppl leave for home
i'm doing summer school and it starts next mon

and i guess the highlight is:
I CAN'T WAIT FOR RESULTS TO COME OUT YO!!
not because i'm so confident of my results but rather after my results are out, everything will be more certain. whether i need to do more summer units. whether i can work during summer. so many whethers. sigh. now i'm just lost. everything cannot be settled until results are out. and it will be out next week! so YEAH! i'm praying. i'm having faith!

so this is what i've been up to. korean drama -_-
no i did not have a marathon. i did see the sun light :)

the story goes like this:
the female lead, Joo Yoorin, is a tour guide on Cheju Island. Thanks to her good-for-nothing father, a cheat and gambler, they’re always on the run, traveling from one country to another. Her greatest asset perhaps, is her ability to speak fluent Korean, Japanese and Mandarin apart from her skills in cheating. (to collect my presents!!! dont think i've forgotten by then!! hehehehe) i guess this month will be an emotional month. coz friends will start leaving one by one. some i will see next year and some i wont :( i hope i dont cry. so i'm gonna take heaps heaps heaps of pics with u guys during thanksgiving and i'll stick u all on my wall *beams*

i just got back from my care group outing 2 days ago!
we went from Melb-Grampians-THE WHOLE STRETCH OF GREAT OCEAN ROAD-Melb
tht is one flippin BIG circle ard Victoria
ahaha
not too bad for a 3 days 2 nights trip
i reckon its one of the most intense trip ever- hiking almost 20km in total and running on the beach -_-''

ok ok back to my roadtrip

Day 1
we hike almost 14km in Grampians
decided to irritate the group by saying, 'r we there yet' when we were 5 minutes into the 3 hours hike!
tht night, we tent, old school
we ate instant noodle in the dark with torch lights
all 9 of us huddle in the big-ass tent to keep ourselves warm
played mindless card games n slept at ard 11pm??
when night fall, tht was when the excitement/horror began
i woke up like 3-4 times because it was flippin cold!! to add to it, it was raining and the wind was blowing strong.
woke up at 2.30am i was like, 'man, this is going to be the longest night ever!!!'
everyone woke up by 6.30am which was good coz we had an early start the next morn
oh did i mention, we had worship n devotion the next morn too :)

Day 2
we were all hyped on adrenaline due to the lack of sleep
and we happily continued on to our next destination- MacKenzies Fall and the Balconies
then we drove down to Great Ocean Road to see the 12 Apostles and finally ended up in Torquay at ard 9.30pm
tht's like half the day in the car with the same 4 ppl with lame jokes and stories :) :)
chilled at the house for the rest of the night
ohh ohhh n did u know tht wood burning in the furnace is VERY VERY intriguing??

Day 3
then the next morn we went to Bell's Beach
beautiful but cold n windy
but after playing police and thief we were all huffin and puffin n warm
smart chris burried both my slippers and couldnt find where he burried it
tht must be the worst sabo ever -_-'' way to go on hiding my BROWN slippers in the BROWN sand
hhhahahahaha
for a sec, i thought i would be getting new slippers *yay!!*
we even did a LINE SEARCH to find my slippers!!! -_-''
but at the end, david found it
headed to Apollo Bay for a lil shopping :)
and then to Gee Long to eat fish and chips but it closed down
then finally we headed back to Clayton but making a pit stop at Glen to eat dinner at HotPotHouse.

overall, it was a really good trip
must say that it is one of the longest cell group trip ever, period!
i got to know the ppl in my group better
and the girls. oh the girls bonded very well.
love u guys heaps!!
sorry if i irritated anyone of u..cant really blame me rite?? hahahaha not use to staying with u all for 3 days!! :) :)

on a totally separate note
DNA was awesome yesterday!
Pas Sam preached about the Holy Spirit and oh how i miss the HS
was pretty bummed tht i missed church last sunday too

me, dennis and chris was mugging in medly lib *my happy place*
chris had his mp3 on real loud
so silly chris wanted to ask his friend a question
with the loud music in his ear, he thought his surrounding was noisy
so he talked to his friend in a really loud voice..piercing the silence of the lib!!
all of us jumped!! i think his friend was writing something and when he heard chris, his hand drew a line across his book..hahaha

funny story no 3

i love bathing downstairs nowadays
simply because its huge and it is echo-ish
translation: i can dance and sing in the loo
the thing is, i sound good when i sing in the loo *grins*
so i sang sang sang *still thinking i sound good*
little did i know, pegs n rach fi was laughing at me outside from the living room
i must have sang really loud!!! *shy*
hahahaha

funny story no 4

i was about to sleep at around 2am
off all the lights and the heater
jumped into bed and covered myself with my blanky
low n behold, there was a buzzing sound
there was a flippin fly in my room!!!! -_-
so i had to get up, on the lights, open my window, n chase the fly out of my room!

1st attempt: i THOUGHT i manage to get it out of my room.off the lights-jumped to bed-and heard the buzzing sound again!!!! *arghhhhhhhh*

2nd attempt: chase the fly with my lecture notes!! finally it flew out...all the time while chasing the fly out, i was laughing at myself. i am so entertaining..hahaha..

*sigh*
it has been a funny week :) :)
and i am seriusly in a smilling mode everyday :) :)

A pastor went to visit his church member and knocked on the door 3 times, but no answer. So he slipped a note under the door, quoting Rev 3:20..... "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."

On the following Sunday, the church member felt that he she respond to the pastor's note and that he also shd quote a verse from scripture - so he wrote a note and put it into the offering bag as it was passed around. Those counting the money later on, called the pastor and handed him a note addressed to him. The pastor opened it.. and saw the verse Gen 3:10 from that church member!!!!

Btw, Gen 3:10 says........."And he said, "I heard the sound of Thee in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself."
